The creators of 4healthykids told us they wanted better results from their web site. Specifically, they wanted more search traffic and a higher conversion rate. This job was perfect for us.

We made a series of changes to the design, in order to better communicate their company values and the trustworthiness of their products. Then, we focused on getting better search engine rankings.
Unlike many other firms, we don’t just launch a new site and let it go. Realizing that better results are a process, not a one-time goal, we continually monitor and adjust our strategy for each client. Each month, we provide easy-to-understand reports that show how your site is attracting and converting more customers. If something’s not working, we call attention to it, and suggest a strategy to solve it.

One of our clients has three separate services under their corporate umbrella. Each service has the same general audience (Chicago singles), but is tailored to slightly different age categories and tastes. The original problem was that the three sites were competing against each other in the search engine listings.
We were trying to optimize all three sites. That’s when we realized we could save energy and money by optimizing only one site to bring in three times the leads.
The solution was to build a search engine landing page, which we named The Sterling Register. We collaborated with another search engine marketing firm to build it.
The concept behind this landing page is to collect traffic for all three services, and then let the visitor decide which service is right for them. This actually works better than our original method (trying to get all three sites listed) because the visitor is exposed to all three services at once.

In collaboration with our partner, we used all the latest and best techniques to get this page listed highly in the search engine rankings. Our client has noticed a dramatic increase in their online sales since launching The Sterling Register. If your company has several different sites that are competing for the same eyeballs, why not consider creating a landing page to funnel all traffic through a single source. We can help you determine your search engine strategy and build a landing page that will get results.

We’re very proud of our recent charity project, Cannon Children Crusade. We helped a local family build a fundraising web site to help the father of three young children whose mother passed away. We hope the site will draw attention to this family’s situation.

To help the Cannon family raise funds for the kids, we placed a Paypal donation button in a prominent spot on the page. We also added a “Tell a Friend” feature so people can spread the word about this cause. We have a feeling that this feature will be very successful.
We hope that you will consider a donation to help the Cannon children.

We just finished a quick site redesign for e-Trends, a market research company that uses its web site mainly for customer service, not as a marketing or recruiting tool. For these reasons, the site is graphically minimal, but we think it has a certain streamlined elegance.

Before our redesign, the site lacked credibility due to an outdated look-and-feel. We made a few simple graphic enhancements, cleaned-up some problem areas, and suggested a few ways to present the information more clearly.
We can do a similar redesign project for your company. If you’ve got a nice web site, but it just needs a little tender loving care to become a great web site, please contact us.

Our new client, Colby Beserra, asked us to refine his website, Colby Beserra.com, which he uses to promote his career as a professional singer and musician. One of the first things we suggested was to add a large graphic to the homepage which provides a basic orientation to Colby’s music. We came up with the idea for a humorous infographic (“This is Colby. This is his album”), which is outrageously simple yet effective.
The next thing we suggested was to reorganize the navigation to eliminate some unclear menu options. We also added an Audio Central page to provide free song downloads of Colby’s music. His music–which is fantastic–is the best advertisement for his live performances, so we wanted to make sure it was easily available to his fans, or potential new fans.

We love working with small business owners, and we’ve found that artists, such as Colby, are a unique class of small business owners, in which their business is creative expression. We’re looking forward to working with Colby as his music continues to inspire and entertain us.
PS: Support the arts! Download a few samples of Colby’s music and, if you like what you hear, please consider buying his album or attending one of his shows!

Our web designer friend Josh Berkowitz just finished a lovely site for a rental condominium in Lake Tahoe. We think the photography on the site is just beautiful, and Josh put together a site that really makes you want to vacation in Lake Tahoe.

The Heavenly Condo Rental site is hosted by Net Elevation.
